Privacy policy of the trackle app

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. This privacy policy applies to our mobile iOS and Android apps (hereinafter „app“). It informs you about the nature, purpose and scope of data collection in the context of using the App. We point out that data transmission on the Internet can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. „Responsible entity“ is the entity that collects, processes or uses personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.). The responsible body for data processing within the scope of this app is:

What personal data is collected?

Personal data is data with which you can identify yourself (e.g. email address, name, IP address, etc.).When you install and use this app, the following personal data is collected:

Email address

The collection is done for the following purpose:

The email address is anonymized („SHA512“) and stored in the backend as a unique identifier for connecting to the app. The plain text version of the email address is stored exclusively on the mobile device and is never transmitted. Personal data is only collected by this app if we are legally entitled to do so or if you have expressly consented to the respective data collection.

Data collection in the context of using the app Personal data may be collected in the context of using the app in the following ways in particular:

(1) You enter the data yourself (e.g. user name and e-mail address).

(2) Your data is automatically collected by our systems or our service providers (e.g. analysis data).

© Copyright eRecht24. All rights reserved.

Data that you enter yourself

When you create a profile in our app, the information stored in the profile is stored in the app itself (email address, see above). The temperature or other health information displayed in the app is not stored in the app, but forwarded to our backend, where no connection to a personal date is possible. We will not share this information without your consent.

Analytics tools

When you access our app, your usage behavior is evaluated by the analytics tools we use in case of a software error. We use Sentry’s service (https://sentry.io/) for crash reporting. Sentry does not store any personal information and stores all data in encrypted form. More information can be found here: https://sentry.io/security/. During the initial installation and startup of the app, you will be asked for your consent to use it. Of course, you can revoke this consent at any time (please contact info@trackle.de).

We also use the app Codepush from Microsoft to ensure the correct functioning of your app in case of updates. Codepush is subject to Microsoft’s privacy policy, more information can be found here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/trustcenter/privacy/where-your-data-is-located

Codepush does not store any personal data, including IP address.

Access rights of the app

Using the Trackle app does not require access to e.g. contacts, photos, videos, camera, microphone, etc. For your information, the Android operating system requires permission to access location data in order to establish Bluetooth connections. Therefore, you will be asked for this when installing the app. This data will not be read, used or stored by trackle GmbH.

Encryption

This app uses various cryptographic methods for security and to protect the transmission of sensitive content, such as temperature data. The connection between the sensor and the app is protected by the Bluetooth LE protocol. The HTTP connection between the app and the backend is encrypted using the TLS method (TLS 1.2). In addition, the integrity of the transmitted data is protected by an asymmetric encryption procedure (public-private key procedure: ECC). Digital signatures prevent the data you transmit from being changed unnoticed (content, sequence, completeness). If you have any further questions about the security measures, you can contact info@trackle.de at any time.

Information, deletion, blocking

You have the right at any time to obtain information about the data stored about you, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correct, block or delete this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at info@trackle.

Right to complain to the competent supervisory authority

Please note that in the event of data protection violations, you have a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority in data protection matters is usually the state data protection commissioner of the federal state in which our company is based. A list of the data protection officers and their contact details can be found under the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Contradictory advertising e-mails

The use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation for the purpose of sending advertising and information material not expressly requested is hereby objected to. The operators of the app expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
